Ne, so here it is. I have made the plunge and given notice to my work and am getting set to make my way off to Korea straight after Christmas.
*first thought* Yay it's time for another adventure *end*
*second thought* Oh sh!t what have i done *end*
So yeah I am leaving my nice stable job in Melbourne to head off for another country to teach me some English. Mind you I don't know 3 words in Korean and have no real clue what it will be like once i get there! (That's not 100% true I am starting to learn Korean now and I know how to say table, bed, chair, and door)
Crazy yeah? Your probably right but hey some of you might know that this isn't the first time I have done something like this (think Japan 3 years ago). It seems that as soon as i start getting settled anywhere I have an uncontrollable urge to shake my life up and see where I fall out.
Actually I am quite proud of myself. At least this time I managed to stay around long enough to get my degree finished. But I guess that it wasn't really by choice, as i needed it to get my visa.
Well anyway, the recruiter said they they want to fly me out on the 27th so I can be all ready to start in Cheonan <-- city I will be living in) by the 2nd of January. I will post the detail of where I am going and who i am teaching with later. But all in all it look like fun and on paper a better deal that when i was in Japan. But hey only time will tell.
